IDM behaves like this only in Chrome, but in Firefox it works perfectly. In Firefox, the number of connections are low due to which downloading speed is very low. The problem is only with video files from Dailymotion or Youtube

Google chrome is playing youtube videos in mkv format instead of flv format
Problem: I got some problem while playing youtube videos but the problem was not about playing but was about downloading these videos in Google chrome using IDM(Internet Download Manager) since it downloads .mkv files instead of download .mp4 or .flv files.
